Position Available: Manufacturer / Blender
Location: ChemStation of Louisiana - Hammond, LA
Department: Operations Team
The Manufacturer / Blender plays a key role in daily operations and is responsible for:
- Manufacturing products using automated blending equipment
- Loading and preparing delivery trucks
- Assisting with production scheduling, logistics, and deliveries
- Equipment assembly and basic servicing
- Inventory management and control
Required Skills and Requirements
- Ability to safely operate automated blending and manufacturing equipment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product formulation and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience with inventory management and material handling practices
- Ability to load, unload, and organize delivery trucks efficiently
- Understanding of safety procedures, including handling of industrial chemicals and use of PPE
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an operations team
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow written instructions, formulas, and standard operating procedures
