Job Title Dental Assistant 3 Department Dentistry | Dental Faculty Practice Responsibilities Provides dental assisting services to practitioners in Dental Faculty Practice. Provides chair-side assistance; maintains equipment and instruments. Dispenses dental materials. Prepare trays, maintains and orders supplies and cleans instruments. Takes radiographs. Minimum Requirements Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current BLS/CPR certification. High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. Dental X-Ray Machine Operator permit from the Ohio State Dental Board. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
