Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function per the established care plan.
• Lead a team of physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functionality.
• Analyze clients' home environments to propose improvements that foster greater independence.
• Administer tailored therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, traction, and other modalities, as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices according to client needs, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Document client progress through OASIS assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team discussions, contributing insights on holistic treatment strategies.
• Provide guidance to clients and their families regarding therapy usage and care, ensuring understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Complete on-site assessments and regularly review and update the care plan, adapting to changing client needs.
• Maintain open communication with case managers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring coordinated care delivery.

We focus on diverse populations, including older adults recovering from surgery, individuals with chronic illnesses, and clients requiring rehabilitation following injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record without sanctions or board actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to motivate clients towards their rehabilitation goals.
• Proficient with electronic medical records systems, especially Web PT, for effective documentation and reporting.
• A commitment to staying current with evidence-based physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare or outpatient therapy settings.
• Advanced training in specialized therapy modalities or techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
