The Physician Assistant is responsible to provide Obstetrical, Gynecologic and Fertility services to patients in the clinic under direction and responsibility of physician(s). This Is a Part-time Role Schedule for this position: 4 - 8.5 hours per week (34 hours per week) .85 FTE 6 weekends per year 1 holiday per year Women's Health experience Maple Grove Position with 2 shifts traveling to Edina every month. Essential Functions Assesses patient status by obtaining health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews; assessing presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing appropriate physical examination Orders/performs appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests Implement patient management plans, record progress, and assist in provision of care Consultations with (phone or in-person) patients Collaborates with physicians to manage patient needs Rounding and call, as required by supervising Physician Prescribe medications Occasionally participate in community functions relating to s outreach events throughout the year. Any and all other duties as assigned Education, Experience, & Other Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program NCCPA certification Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license DEA registration Benefits & Compensation Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule. Working Conditions Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift. Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching. Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents. Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly. Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer). Setting Clinic Essential Requirements Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
