Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote but will require visits to our outpatient office as needed for meetings and patient assessments. Our team works together in a dynamic, supportive atmosphere where we prioritize high-quality mental health services. While the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to meet the needs of our clients. Flexibility in scheduling is a valued aspect of our workflow, ensuring we provide adequate care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations to assess patients' psychological wellness, utilizing standardized tools to guide diagnostics and treatment planning.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with patients’ clinical needs and goals, adjusting interventions as necessary based on progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy—to effectively address patient concerns.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to support patients' emotional needs and foster personal development.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, employing strong de-escalation techniques during stressful situations.
\n
• Offer educational resources to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and available support services, fostering a deeper understanding of their conditions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards.

• Partake in professional development, including team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed of the latest research, practices, and regulatory developments within the mental health field to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient base that includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. This varies from common anxiety and mood disorders to more complex trauma-related conditions, providing you with a rich and rewarding clinical experience. Your role is critical as you will be instrumental in guiding patients toward improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Strong skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and devising effective treatment plans.

• Experience in applying varied therapeutic techniques within individual and group settings.
