Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license for the state of MI (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience, especially in K-12 school settings
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for speech/language disorders
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with fellow professionals, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech/language therapy services to students
• Conduct screenings and evaluations
• Document therapy progress according to school and state guidelines
• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in parent and team meetings
