Slitter Operator-1st Shift

Shift: 1st Shift (Cary Location) 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, M-F Minimum Requirements: 2+ yrs doing any complex Mechanical (i.e. taking cars, machines apart, replacing engines or transmissions, etc). OR 1+ years of machine operator experience is required Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass our reading and ruler testing Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test) Ability to be on your feet and stand/walk for entire shift. Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors. Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment preferred Previous lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required,

WE WILL TRAIN

The Slitter Machine Operator slits material to support press, lamination, and pouch departments, and Customer roll stock business.
