Job 19111: Litigation Paralegal

Expanding personal injury law firm is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to join their Nassau or Suffolk County, New York offices.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with:

• 10+ years of New York plaintiff personal injury litigation experience

• NYSCEF experience, required

• Microsoft Office Suite and case management software proficiency

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Support personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial

• Draft and eFile documents including summonses and complaints, BoPs, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, etc.

• Monitor and calendar litigation deadlines

• Assist with deposition and trial preparation

• Correspond with clients, doctors, insurance companies and opposing counsel

• Maintain case files

• Assist with additional tasks, as needed

Additional information:

• Salary: $70K - $90K (non-exempt) commensurate with experience

• Healthcare, PTO and 401K benefits

• Full-time in office

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility for overtime as needed

• Collaborative work environment
