Location

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Rockville Centre, NY, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and the opportunity to work closely with a strong litigation team.

Note

Candidates must have 2+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience, including experience with pleadings, discovery, e-filing, medical records, and trial preparation.

Job Description

• Support attorneys in managing personal injury litigation cases from inception through trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, motions, and other case-related documents.
• Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, and case documentation.
• Handle e-filing, court filings, deadlines, and litigation calendar support.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witnesses, jury instructions, voir dire, and verdict sheets.
• Help prepare cases for settlement, final disbursal, and resolution.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Keep cases organized, moving forward, and deadline-compliant in a busy plaintiff-side litigation environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required.
• Experience with premises liability, automobile accidents, construction accidents, and municipal liability matters strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pleadings, discovery, e-filing, medical records, and trial preparation.
• Paralegal certificate or extensive hands-on litigation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and deadline-management skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, legal database software, and task management systems.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.
