Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary duties will encompass the following:

• Delivering evidence-based clinical services by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans rooted in a recovery-based methodology.

• Conducting continuous assessments to determine client needs and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Facilitating the creation and management of individual service plans (ISPs) in collaboration with clients, ensuring their voices are central in their care journey.

• Training and empowering clients in developing essential life skills, including coping strategies, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication techniques.

• Providing education on available community resources, acting as an advocate to connect clients with these services for additional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving adults aged 18 and older who experience varying degrees of mental health challenges. Many of your clients may face difficulty in establishing or maintaining stability in their personal, professional, or social lives due to conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding them on their personal recovery paths while supporting their reintegration into the community.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid and current state license to practice in Illinois, which could include:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• The ability to work independently without supervision.

• No recent disciplinary actions affecting licensure.
\n
• Proficient computer skills and a reliable Wi-Fi connection are required for remote engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
