Business Development Specialist

Job Description

Responsible for identifying, recruiting, and developing vendors and new business opportunities to strengthen tenant mix and drive revenue growth within a shopping mall environment. Manages vendor relationships, builds strategic partnerships, and supports initiatives that enhance customer experience and mall performance. Collaborates cross-functionally to research opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline of new business.

Job Qualifications

6 years of experience in retail leasing, vendor management, business development, shopping mall management, or commercial real estate. Experience working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and retail brands. Proficiency in CRM systems, Advanced user of Microsoft Office programs and business reporting tools.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Real Estate and four years experience in retail leasing, vendor management, business development, shopping mall management, or commercial real estate. Experience working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and retail brands.

Major Duties

Research, analyze, and evaluate current and future business and market opportunities.

Identify, recruit, and onboard vendors to enhance tenant mix and expand retail offerings. Develop and nurture strategic partnerships that improve customer experience and drive revenue growth.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to execute business development strategies.

Support and implement programs that promote vendor success and overall mall performance.

Monitor vendor performance and contribute insights to improve commercial outcomes.

Performs other duties as assigned.
