Job Description This role is within FoxNXT, FOX Entertainment’s next generation tech innovation studio that accelerates the creation, production, and scaling of premium storytelling across all business units. The Assistant will provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President, Head of FoxNXT, actively owning and managing the executive’s schedule, travel, expense reports, and projects. The position requires high professionalism, confidentiality, and judgment, with the ability to balance changing demands under pressure. It offers an invaluable high‑level view of the entertainment business and the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with studio executives and assistants. Regular, on‑site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the EVP, including proactive calendar and time management, meeting planning, general office duties, and greeting guests Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, technology, and innovation across the media and entertainment landscape Answer incoming calls and ensure that messages are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion Create and manage a repository of industry news relevant to FoxNXT, delivered weekly, flagging prominent news articles, videos, and any other current related material Conduct web research and analysis for special projects Orchestrate travel and logistics Timely preparation and tracking of expense reports Manage and restock office supplies, along with other general office responsibilities as required Qualifications Undergraduate degree 2+ years in the entertainment industry Active interest in Generative AI and Generative AI in Media Production Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize, organize, and establish administrative procedures and work under pressure Ability to work under strict deadlines Ability to deal with ambiguity Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high‑level executives Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Professional presence, good judgment, and ability to anticipate needs Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and a problem‑solver Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint IT savvy with an understanding of current technology and trends Excellent oral and written communication skills We are an equal‑opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $23.50–26.00 per hour.
