Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and design tailored treatment strategies to help them attain their personal functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy practices that enhance ongoing recovery at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient development and modify treatments as necessary to ensure they remain on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement towards ongoing education and professional certifications.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential.
