The Construction Project Engineer will help coordinate the design plans and specifications; preliminary engineering reports/studies; manage subconsultants; and calculate and prepare engineering documents for respective engineering discipline. This role consists of a wide variety of projects including but not limited to land development, paving, grading, waterlines, roadways, traffic impact studies, sewer lines, storm sewer lines, etc.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Execute multiple simultaneous projects from conceptual design, through final design, and submittal reviews during construction.Manage budgets and schedules on assigned projects.Prepare conceptual designs to assist in defining project scope including but not limited to site layouts, preliminary cost estimating, schedule formation, Work with subconsultants and other outside entities to obtain necessary design information and keep project on schedule including but not limited to preparing subconsultant scope of work, coordinating with subconsultants to prepare contracts and fees, managing subconsultants during design, and problem solving and communicating with subconsultants as issues arise.Obtaining building and environmental permits for constructionSupervising construction and administration tasks.Job QualificationsExperience and Competencies:3+ years of progressive experience in Construction Management focused on land development and/or municipal project designDetail oriented with tendency to adhere to established proceduresAbility to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties on scheduleMust be organized and able to work with minimal supervisionPracticed in project management, task management, follow-up and follow-throughAbility to travel up to 50%BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short-Term & Long-Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentFCC Environmental Services, LLC operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
