Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique requirements and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Offer guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to empower continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progression.

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or specialized certifications encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
