Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ symptoms, including the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and objectives, utilizing evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote informed recovery.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care for the best patient outcomes.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to further enhance clinical effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met in a supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, presenting a unique opportunity to support individuals from various backgrounds, including those who are homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and effective time management to efficiently handle client loads and administrative responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
