Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation center, you will work onsite with a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions to establish individual goals and develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and mobility enhancement.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, quality interactions that optimize treatment outcomes.
• Deliver cost-effective treatment solutions aimed at minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Implement various therapeutic methods and techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalized encouragement and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Document all patient care services meticulously to maintain clear communication within the healthcare team and ensure continuity of care.
• Evaluate treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination training.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base predominantly consists of individuals with private medical insurance, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and experience in orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation.
• Proficient in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and the capability to utilize them for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting to ensure familiarity with common conditions treated in this environment.
• Background in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs.
• Experience motivating patients through successful rehabilitation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
