Work Environment

This position operates in an onsite home care setting, allowing you to engage with patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients through various evaluative techniques, including range of motion testing, functional assessments, and physical performance analysis to identify impairments and establish treatment goals.
• Design tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs identified during evaluations, ensuring they align with patient goals and physician recommendations, and are adjusted in response to patient progress.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like heat, cold, and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective self-care strategies and home exercise programs to enhance rehabilitation efforts and engagement in their recovery process.
• Serve as a key resource for physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing insights on physical function, treatment adaptations, and necessary equipment.
• Oversee and mentor support staff in implementing patient treatment protocols to ensure compliance with care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. The Physical Therapist will play a pivotal role in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain function, alleviate pain, and improve their quality of life through targeted interventions and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Firepower Rehab & Therapy Clinic offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and continuing education credits to support your professional growth.
