Work Environment

This onsite role will provide an opportunity to work closely with a small, collaborative team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment tailored for various rehabilitation programs, creating an ideal setting for exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their unique needs and define treatment objectives.
• Manage a patient load of one client per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Propose non-surgical alternatives and administer therapies designed to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Evaluate progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment procedures accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' goals and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our rehabilitation facility, we cater primarily to individuals with varying orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. Our patient population includes athletes recovering from injuries, older adults seeking rehabilitation post-surgery, and individuals looking to enhance their functional mobility. By focusing on evidence-based practices, we aim to empower our clients to achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient manual therapy techniques to enhance recovery.
• Experience in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• A proven track record of successfully working with a diverse patient demographic.
• Ability to utilize innovative treatment modalities, enhancing patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
