The Maine Celtics have been the NBA G League affiliate of the Boston Celtics. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, setup, and breakdown of practices, games, and team activities
• Support player and staff travel logistics, including flight arrangements, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation
• Assist with the development of road trip travel itineraries
• Travel with the team on road trips to provide operational and logistical support
• Support the onboarding process for new players
• Oversee the inventory and distribution of team gear and equipment
• Administer and distribute player and staff per diem
• Coordinate ticket requests and credentials for players, staff, and visiting team personnel
• Supervise team attendants and manage game day assignments and responsibilities
• Provide operational and logistical support across all areas of the Basketball Operations department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sports operations, team services, or a related field
• Exceptional organizational and management skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extensive travel throughout the G League season
• Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with the role, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds

The expected range of annual salary/hourly rate and potential commission, if applicable, is included below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this/these range(s) will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market and industry considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, performance, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Hourly Rate Range: $16.83 - $19.23

About the Maine Celtics:

Originally called the Maine Red Claws, the Maine Celtics have been the NBA G League affiliate of the Boston Celtics since the team’s inaugural campaign during the 2009-10 season. The Boston Celtics purchased the franchise prior to the start of the 2019-20 season and renamed the team to the Maine Celtics in May 2021. The Celtics play their home games at the Portland Expo. 20 players have earned GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA, including two players to Boston.
