About Us
Power Bolt & Tool is a small distribution company serving construction contractors across Florida, with locations in Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Pompano Beach. We supply specialty fasteners, power tools, cutting tools, safety equipment, and jobsite supplies to general contractors and trades, and we're known for fast delivery, reliable service, and knowledgeable people.
About the Role
We're looking for a full-time, on-site Accountant to own our payables and receivables: paying vendors accurately and on time, billing and collecting from customers, and keeping accounts reconciled through month-end close.
What You'll Do
· Process vendor invoices and payments; match to POs and receiving documents
· Invoice customers, apply payments, and follow up on past-due balances
· Reconcile vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
· Prepare journal entries, aging reports, and support month-end and year-end close
· Other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring
· 2+ years of AP, AR, or general accounting experience
· Accounting/Finance degree required
· Solid grasp of accounting principles
· Strong Excel and accounting/ERP software skills
· Attention to detail, organization, and clear communication
