Description The Project Manager - Hotel Renovations - Employee-Owned Company will be responsible for: Managing hospitality renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations. Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and procurement plans while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. Serving as the primary point of contact for owners, hotel management teams, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Overseeing contract administration, subcontractor management, change order negotiation, and project documentation. Coordinating field operations with superintendents and project teams to ensure efficient execution while minimizing disruption to active hotel operations. Leading project meetings, providing regular progress updates, and preparing reports related to cost, schedule, quality, and project status. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents to support successful planning and execution. Managing project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, pay applications, invoicing, and monthly forecasting. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control requirements, and company policies at all stages of construction. Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive successful project outcomes and support future business opportunities. Mentoring and supporting project engineers and other junior team members while fostering a collaborative project environment. Traveling to project sites as needed to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure successful project delivery. Profile The Project Manager - Hotel Renovations - Employee-Owned Company should have: 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, hospitality renovations, interiors, or occupied-space projects. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. Strong experience overseeing subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle. Demonstrated success managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change orders, and monthly reporting. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with owners, clients, architects, and field personnel. Experience coordinating preconstruction efforts, procurement, scheduling, and project closeout activities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges. Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation tools such as Procore, Autodesk, Sage, Timberline, or similar platforms. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules. A client-focused mindset, strong leadership abilities, and the flexibility to travel as needed to support project execution. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
