This vital role will involve floating between various orthopedic outpatient clinics throughout Nevada, primarily focused in Carson City. Work Environment

You will be working in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Our rehabilitation centers are equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to provide effective treatment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced approach to work and life while encountering diverse challenges every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy treatment to patients at various clinic locations.
• Adapt quickly to different electronic medical record (EMR) systems, operational workflows, and team dynamics to facilitate seamless patient care.
• Fill in for staff physical therapists during their absence due to vacations, medical leave, or when patient demand increases.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with physicians, clinic directors, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
• Participate in system-wide meetings and professional development sessions to stay current with continuing education and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a floater, you will have the opportunity to provide care to patients of all ages and improve their functional abilities through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills along with excellent adaptability and interpersonal capabilities.
• A willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed for patient care (specific travel radius will be established during the interview process).
• A strong commitment to evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic or sports therapy is highly preferred.
• Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or a strong interest in pursuing specialty certifications.
• Familiarity with multiple EMR systems and prior exposure to different clinical settings enhances flexibility and effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging between $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Additional benefits include:
