Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role at Suncrest is primarily onsite, involving home visits where you will assess and treat patients in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify their needs and outline effective treatment strategies.

• Regularly document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping that complies with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.

• Provide patient and family education on injury prevention, ongoing care strategies, and wellness practices to foster long-term health improvements.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working alongside orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate evidence-based interventions into your treatment regimen.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve developing treatment plans that accommodate varying levels of mobility and health statuses, ensuring that every patient receives precise care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.

• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques, particularly manual therapy and functional movement assessments.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients and their families.

• A collaborative spirit, with the capability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Experience

While we require at least 2 years of experience, candidates with specialized training in pelvic health or advanced orthopedic rehabilitation are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
