Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology. Our clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere where the team of physical therapists, assistants, and administrative staff work closely together to support each other and our patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a structured yet dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to respond to patients' diverse needs throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical limitations and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functional capabilities.
• Implement hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to promote recovery and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, effective home exercises, and post-treatment strategies to maintain progress after discharge.
• Document patient progress and outcomes meticulously in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and collaborate on treatment strategies to achieve optimized patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves an outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse group of patients, ranging from young athletes to older adults, each requiring specialized approaches tailored to their circumstances. Your role is crucial in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journeys, ensuring they can return to their daily activities and hobbies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; additional advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
• Possession of a valid Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility to acquire licensing.
• A strong emphasis on patient care, with an ability to assess and address individual patient needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans, tailored to the patient's unique circumstances.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.
• Participation in continued education and specialty certifications is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 annually.
