Work Environment

This is an onsite position that takes place in patients' homes across Carson City and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation goals to develop targeted, individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and manual therapy methods, implementing structured therapy programs that include therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes within the Raintree system, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, providing insights into injury prevention strategies and home exercise programs.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans according to patient progress, ensuring the highest standards of care are met during recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation—this includes those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with diverse patient populations, adapting your communication and treatment techniques to best support each individual's unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Nevada is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork and rapport-building with patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic care is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience utilizing Raintree or similar EMR systems will be advantageous.
