Human Resources Coordinator

A growing, people‑first organization with a national footprint is seeking an HR Coordinator to join its Human Resources team in Chicago. This role supports employees and managers across multiple locations and is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who enjoys operational work, compliance, and creating a positive employee experience. What You'll Do Serve as a day‑to‑day HR point of contact for employees and managers, escalating complex matters as needed Maintain accurate employee records and administer HRIS data with a high level of confidentiality Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience Support benefits administration and partner with vendors to resolve employee inquiries Maintain HR documentation and assist with compliance reporting (e.g., EEO‑1, OSHA) Help develop HR resources and support training, engagement, and HR projects Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and internal tools What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of HR experience Experience using an HRIS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Strong attention to detail and comfort handling confidential information Professional, approachable communication style and a collaborative mindset Why This Role Hybrid schedule with Fridays remote Supportive, team‑oriented HR environment Competitive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, parental leave) Visibility across the organization with opportunity to grow in HR operations Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
