Surgical Technician - Operating Room - 7a-530p

Location: CHA Everett Hospital Work Days: 7a-5:30p with night/weekend/holiday call on rotation, Various Shifts, 40 hrs/week Job Type Full time Union Non Union Sign-On Bonus $10,000 available for external hires. Job Purpose The Surgical Technician responsibilities include the preparation of the Operating Room (OP), equipment and instrumentation for each procedure, assisting the surgical team during the procedure and the clean‑up and processing of equipment post‑procedure. The Surgical Technician works collaboratively with the RN and all surgical team members to meet the needs of each patient. On call duties will be required for nights, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Prepare the Operating Room (OP) and equipment for each procedure. Assist the surgical team during the procedure. Clean up and process equipment post‑procedure. Work collaboratively with RN and all surgical team members to meet the needs of each patient. Perform on‑call duties for nights, weekends and holidays.
