Job Description

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring the safety and care of patients undergoing cardiovascular tests. They work closely with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble catheterization lab equipment and sterile supplies.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide support throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate strong technical and clinical skills in cardiac procedures.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
