Lead Software EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days/week in office required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC. This is a 3+ months contract opportunity.The Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) team provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support Workday Engineering functions for our Compensation product team to deliver a compliant Workday Extend solution. This engineer will work on critical US and global Compensation Extend projects that deliver incremental changes to product working in an Agile environment.Responsibilities:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsSupport the planning and sizing of development items for sprint planningContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsDevelop, configure, and maintain integrations for assigned product(s) in WorkdayReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequirements:5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, educationExperience building integrations, expertise in developing Extend applications, and supporting compensation processes2+ years of expertise in Workday Extend as a developerKnowledge in Workday compensation2+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or Workday)2+ years of business systems analysis or design experience2+ years of technology release or implementation experience1+ years of Workday development experience, including integrations - EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio, Reporting - Report Writer, Advanced ReportingDesired skills:Workday or other HR systems Compensation experienceExperience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query toolsExperience/Knowledge in Adaptive Workforce Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports and DashboardsKnowledge of Adaptive security, permission sets, user groups, access rulesExperience in setting up integration between HCM and Adaptive, User sync and SSOLeadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environmentKnowledge and understanding of AgileAbility to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountabilityAbility to shift priorities as work-flow/volume dictatesExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audienceA BS/BA degree or higher in information technologyPrevious software engineering experience with our clientPay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
