Administrative Assistant- Strong Computer Skills Required! $50,000 - $60,000 Birmingham, AL Our client is seeking a versatile professional to join their team in a dual-function role that combines administrative support with internal IT assistance. This is the perfect position for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is comfortable toggling between client-facing administrative tasks and basic technical troubleshooting. You will play a vital role in operations. Job Description :

  • Act as a point of contact for staff regarding basic internal IT troubleshooting and hardware setup
  • Assist users with routine technical issues such as login access, screen display problems, and peripheral connectivity
  • Coordinate with outsourced IT firm to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Manage the electronic filing process for paperwork, ensuring all systems are updated and accurate
  • Assemble and prepare paperwork for mailing or client pickup
  • Utilize the secure client portal system to ensure all paperwork is delivered and signed promptly
  • Provide front-office support during peak times, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all visitors
  • Communicate effectively with clients and maintain a high standard of professional service
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative projects to support the team during high-volume periods
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support various team members as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Exceptional computer literacy with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and support office hardware
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Natural "people-person" with a polished, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment without needing to hold a supervisory role
  • Capacity to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required during peak busy seasons
