Our work model is entirely remote, enabling you to provide mental health services from the comfort of your home while still being fully integrated into our team through virtual platforms. We maintain a collaborative atmosphere with regular video conferences and team meetings, ensuring that every team member feels included and supported. Although the position is full-time, we offer flexibility in scheduling to best meet patient needs, with regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the individual, considering their cultural backgrounds and specific mental health concerns.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing and promote resilience, employing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic care plan that addresses all aspects of patient health.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies to manage critical situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and utilize local community resources for continued support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation consistent with legal standards and ethical practices, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences and training sessions aimed at enhancing cultural competency and professional skills.

• Remain up to date with the latest research, treatment methodologies, and culturally relevant practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and cultural adjustment challenges. Our patient demographic is richly diverse, making cultural competence essential in treatment. As a therapist, you will engage with populations that include ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and newly arrived immigrants, addressing unique challenges while fostering trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, adopting culturally responsive practices.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills to navigate challenging or high-stress situations effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating an aptitude for building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong grasp of computer applications utilized in telehealth.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not obligatory, experience working in a community health setting or counseling in an outpatient clinic is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and cultural awareness training would also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
