Details Work in a 40 bed Emergency Department with a staff of 120 across day and night shifts Patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume periods) Uses cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak equipment Performs IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation Meditech EMR used 13-week assignment with a 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM shift schedule Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) Two professional references required for Missouri assignments Additional Information Adaptability and being a team player are essential skills for this role Prior high-pressure or medical experience (RN, Medic, Technician) is preferred Best suited for candidates who are outgoing and remain positive under pressure Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms required, with appropriately colored t-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-749234.
