Details Work on the 6W Transplant Nephrology unit specializing in med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal care, and dialysis (dialysis performed off-unit) 20-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Requires working 3 weekend shifts per month No on-call requirements Agency and contract nurses float first per unit policy Unit staffed with daytime unit secretary, PCTs, and a unit educator Documentation completed in Meditech Virtual nurse supports patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients Requirements Active RN license (MO or Compact) Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of recent experience in med/surg, nephrology, or related specialty ADN required No gaps in work history of 90 days within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration Two professional references required for Missouri placements Additional Information Provide med/surg nursing care to patients with nephrology and kidney transplant needs Level 1 trauma facility Royal blue scrubs required; black scrub pants permitted Unit recognized with a 'We show up' teamwork award Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-747845.
