Our organization, a reputable physician-led healthcare provider in the Midwest, is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to become part of a committed inpatient GI team. This role presents a fantastic chance to focus exclusively on inpatient Gastroenterology within a supportive and esteemed medical community, all while enjoying a remarkable work-life balance through a shift-based scheduling system.

Position Highlights

• Flexible 7 on/7 off scheduling, with options to take on extra shifts
• Inpatient-only practice, complemented by a distinct outpatient GI team
• Strong teamwork between GI and Emergency Department teams, resulting in minimal overnight calls
• Average of 10-12 procedures performed daily
• Advanced procedures are encouraged but not mandatory
• Dedicated support from inpatient GI Advanced Practice Providers (APP) available Monday through Friday

Compensation & Incentives

• Guaranteed base salary of $750,000
• Additional incentive opportunities available with APP coverage
• Compensation of $3,600 for each extra shift beyond 14 shifts per month
• Sign-on bonus of $100,000
• Employer qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, offering up to $420,000 in student loan relief
• Relocation assistance of $15,000
