Clinical Nurse - Surgical & Wound

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive outpatient nursing care in a full-time, Monday-Friday setting with no weekends, holidays, or call. The position involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance. Key Responsibilities Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Develops and documents individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams. Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Participates in professional development and quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of an RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; BSN preferred. Less than 2 years of experience preferred; wound care experience a plus. Strong critical nursing skills, attention to safety, and ability to work collaboratively.
