Work Environment

This position is onsite and entails providing home care services, allowing our therapists to engage directly with patients in a comfortable and familiar setting. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a predictable schedule that helps optimize both productivity and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Back To Shape, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and challenges.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Providing hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational guidance to empower patients in their rehabilitation journey.
• Treating an average of three patients per hour, focusing primarily on adult rehabilitation for clients between the ages of 40 to 65.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions using CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Collaborating effectively with referring providers to ensure continuity of care and adherence to the treatment plan.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will primarily engage with adults aged 40-65 seeking rehabilitation services after surgical interventions, injury recovery, or chronic conditions. This demographic demands personalized attention, as their rehabilitation process may require tailored treatment strategies to cater to age-related physical changes and lifestyle factors.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrable strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills to formulate effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
