Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while still providing the opportunity for in-person interaction if desired. You will work predominantly from the comfort of your own home but have access to a fully furnished office space at our hospice center as needed. Our organization supports your work by providing administrative help, including billing and scheduling, so that you can maintain your focus primarily on client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, couple, and family psychotherapy tailored to meet the unique psychological needs of clients navigating end-of-life issues.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand the personal histories, emotional states, and specific needs of clients, developing individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and contexts.

• Create and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with Maryland state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, including medical professionals, to provide integrated care and participate in case consultations or supervision when necessary.

• Adhere to and promote ethical practices and professional standards as outlined by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, focusing primarily on individuals and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses and psychosocial stressors. This includes offering support to clients grappling with grief, anticipatory loss, and other emotional complexities arising from end-of-life care. Qualifications\n

• Possess an active LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package reflects the importance of your role: you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
