Senior Bookkeeper

Our client is a family office. They seek a Senior Bookkeeper to join their Edison, NJ office. Responsibilities Oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple entities, including personal, trust, and LLC accounts Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments, deposits, and accurate recordkeeping Reconcile bank, credit card, investment, and loan accounts while resolving discrepancies Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and support month-end and year-end close activities Monitor cash flow, account balances, wire transfers, and overall liquidity Track household expenses, budgets, capital projects, and financial activity across entities Coordinate with external tax advisors on year-end reporting, tax preparation, and related documentation Maintain organized financial records, vendor information, contracts, and insurance documentation Support payroll administration for household employees, including payroll tax compliance Required 2+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience Family Office, Client Services, or Public Accounting industry experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Experience managing multiple entities and intercompany transactions Experience processing wire transfers and working with multiple banking platforms Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) required #J-18808-Ljbffr
