Business Operations & Analytics Specialist

Role Overview
Turn operational data into clear insights, practical recommendations, and high-quality input that helps train and refine next-generation AI and analytics systems. This remote contract role supports a customer project focused on improving business performance through data-driven operational analysis. No prior AI experience is required, your business operations and analytics expertise is the focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within business processes.
- Create, interpret, and improve dashboards, KPI reports, and business intelligence materials that support data-driven decisions.
- Develop and document process flows, workflow analyses, and operational reviews that produce clear, actionable insights.
- Create presentation decks and other visual documentation to communicate complex data and recommendations effectively.
- Build rubrics and frameworks for evaluating operational outcomes and performance measures.
- Translate findings into concise recommendations and reports tailored to a range of business stakeholders.
- Provide structured feedback and nuanced domain input to support the training and refinement of AI and analytics platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Operations Manager, Business Analyst, Strategy and Operations Manager, Program Manager, Revenue Operations Specialist, Supply Chain Manager, or in a comparable role.
- Advanced proficiency with business intelligence tools, dashboards, and KPI reporting platforms.
- Strong data analysis, dashboard creation, data visualization, and operational metrics analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with process documentation, workflow optimization, and operational review methodologies.
- Ability to interpret and present data through charts, tables, and executive-summary formats.
- Ability to create high-quality presentation decks and visual documentation for business audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, recommendation writing, and the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Ability to adapt operations and analytics expertise to innovative projects.
