Medical Assistant We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our client’s healthcare team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will support providers in delivering exceptional patient care while performing both clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a collaborative care environment that values teamwork and patient well‑being. Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $23.00/hr Key Responsibilities Manage patient flow throughout the clinic to ensure efficient operations Assist providers in managing and treating patients across a variety of healthcare needs Perform clinical and clerical tasks including documentation, data entry, and scheduling support Administer immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for analysis Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers Assist with prescription refills and perform x‑ray duties if qualified Support front desk operations including patient check‑in and coordination of services Monitor and order clinical and office supplies as needed Maintain clinical competencies and perform other duties as assigned Local travel using a personal vehicle is required to reach nearby clinic sites Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential in Minnesota Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Copies of BLS certification and Medical Assistant diploma or certificate must be provided Preferred Experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment Professional development opportunities Supportive and team‑oriented workplace Opportunities for advancement within the organization Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Administrative Industries: Hospitals and Health Care Nurchure Staffing Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nurchure Staffing Solutions
