Account Executive
We are hiring an Account Executive to drive new business and expand relationships with enterprise customers. This role is focused on selling Neon's automation platform to healthcare and life sciences organizations, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. Ideal candidates have enterprise SaaS sales experience, thrive in high-growth environments, and are motivated to build a category-defining company.
The crisis: Sarah delayed cancer treatment for weeks facing $30,000 monthly costs. Marcus's autoimmune condition worsened while battling insurance denials.
Over 50% of critical prescriptions are abandoned due to:
- Cost barriers: Patients with high copays are 5x more likely to abandon treatment
- Insurance maze: Complex prior authorizations block access
- Logistical challenges: Coordinating medical visits for treatments
Neon's technology eliminates these obstacles by automating patient access workflows for pharma companies: automating authorizations, streamlining benefits verification, and unlocking financial assistance.

Neon's sales motion is highly-consultative and highly-technical.
- As such, you should:
- be computer-science-literate. i.e. You should be able to speak confidently with IT leaders at our clients' teams about our technical implementation details: APIs, schemas, high-level architecture, etc. If you have interfaced directly with engineering/IT teams before, this will probably suffice.
- be comfortable doing deep discovery to understand the prospects' current workflows and challenges with those workflows.
Sales
- Prospect and qualify leads: Identify and engage key decision-makers at enterprise healthcare organizations.
- Run discovery and demos: Understand customer pain points and showcase Neon's automation platform.
- Manage pipeline: Own opportunities end to end, from outreach through contract negotiation and close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure customer needs are met.
- Exceed revenue targets: Drive consistent quota attainment and contribute to company growth.
Implementation & Success
- Beyond the initial sale, you will be involved in implementation and ongoing success: partnering directly with enterprise customers to ensure success with Neon's automation platform. Act as the connective tissue between client stakeholders, our product/engineering teams, and leadership.
- Own the relationship: Build trust and act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
- Drive implementations: Translate business needs into product rollouts, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption.
- Shape new products: Take customer problems from design through implementation, coordinating cross-functional resources.
- Manage programs: Track timelines, risks, and outcomes across multiple initiatives.
- Identify expansion opportunities: Spot opportunities for deeper adoption and increased value.

We're looking for someone who has excelled in enterprise SaaS sales, tech-forward consulting, sales engineering, or forward-deployed engineering.
