Senior Accountant

The firm operates in a specialized asset class and combines the resources and sophistication of a larger investment platform with the visibility and accessibility of a smaller team. This is an opportunity to build a strong foundation in investment and operating-company accounting while working closely with experienced accounting leadership. You'll gain hands-on exposure across AP/AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, general ledger accounting, and month-end close. What You'll Own Support day-to-day accounting operations while developing strong accounting judgment Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor inquiries and aging analysis Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts Maintain the general ledger and contribute to accurate, timely financial reporting Reconcile fixed assets and assist with capital expenditure analysis Assist with month-end close and gain hands-on experience across the full close cycle Support annual information reporting and related tax processes Prepare supporting documentation for external audits Partner with Controllers and senior leadership on accounting projects and process improvements Identify issues, research discrepancies, and help drive them through resolution What You Bring 1-5 years of accounting/finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Prior experience with accounting, investment, real estate, or asset-based businesses is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills A willingness to take ownership and learn beyond the basic requirements of the role Why This Role You'll get meaningful exposure to experienced accounting leaders, hands-on responsibility across the close and reporting process, and the opportunity to develop expertise within a specialized investment environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hemans.
