Accounting Specialist - AP/AR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients financial records. Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will handle vendor invoicing, customer billing, payment processing, collections, and account reconciliations, as well as support month-end close activities.  This role is 100% onsite.  Apply TODAY!!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Verify account coding and secure proper payment approvals.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly.
• Process incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and apply cash accurately.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date customer account records.

General Accounting & Support

• Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile cash receipts and assigned general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support external audit processes by preparing requested schedules and documentation.
