Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct extensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each person's unique circumstances.

• Provide tailored individual therapy sessions that utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and monitor their progress through regular check-ins and documented assessments.

• Offer flexible teletherapy options for clients who may prefer virtual sessions or those unable to attend in-person appointments, ensuring access to vital mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Christus Healthcare Services, you will work with diverse client populations, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in Washington State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A demonstrated empathetic and non-judgmental approach in working with clients, understanding the complexities of their mental health challenges.

• Previous experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment pathways, particularly those beneficial for clients dealing with dual diagnoses.
