About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of enriching the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, strategic, and service-oriented leader, responsible for overseeing the organization's programs, partnerships, and operations. This role involves directing a team of approximately 60 employees, managing a significant annual budget, and working closely with the Governing Board to ensure the delivery of effective and equitable services across a seven-county region. The Executive Director will also be tasked with advancing the organization's long-term direction, aligning resources with regional priorities, and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders, including elected officials, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' management experience, or at least 10 years' of directly related, progressively responsible management-level experience. Deep fiscal management skills, experience in nonprofit leadership, and a background in aging, disability, or human services are essential. The role requires a proven track record in people management, the ability to navigate a changing funding environment, and a commitment to transparency, responsible stewardship, and organizational excellence. The Executive Director will be expected to lead with integrity, humility, and accountability, and to foster an inclusive, mission-driven workplace that is responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
