REGISTERED MUNICIPAL CLERK

Registered Municipal Clerk The Borough of Palmyra seeks a Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) with a Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) license. Successful candidates must be highly self‑motivated, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Responsibilities: Preparation of agendas, resolutions, minutes, ordinances, and public record requests. Issuing various permits and licenses. Record management. Attendance at all Council meetings and elections. Serve as Secretary to the Governing Body. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service orientation. Manage multiple deadlines and interface effectively with the Governing Body, Administrator, other Department Heads, residents, employees, volunteers, business owners, and professional consultants. Qualifications: Must be computer proficient and experienced with Edmunds municipal software and MS Office programs. Minimum of 3 years of government experience preferred. Willingness to enroll in Registered Municipal Clerk and Certified Municipal Registrar classes and obtain certifications within two years. Salary commensurate with qualifications, education and experience, with a range of $65,000.00 and higher for qualified candidates.
