Make an impact on student success by providing crucial psychological services in a dynamic school setting near Kansas City, KS. Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification through the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE)
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a Kansas credential authorizing service in public schools
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Strong skills in assessment, collaboration, and consultation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
- Analyze and interpret data to generate comprehensive reports
- Engage in meaningful collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and expertise
- Advise on academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
