About the Role
The Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Board of Directors. Board Members will be instrumental in guiding the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing the mission of creating safe spaces for individuals to connect through their stories, creativity, and humanity. This volunteer position requires a commitment to governance, financial oversight, fundraising, advocacy, strategic planning, and active participation in board committees. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the organization's mission, previous experience in nonprofit board service or relevant professional fields, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Board Members are expected to have a high level of integrity, ethics, and a commitment to transparency and accountability. Responsibilities include providing oversight to fulfill the organization's mission effectively and ethically, reviewing and approving financial decisions, assisting in fundraising efforts, and serving as ambassadors for the organization. The role also involves strategic planning, monitoring and evaluating programs, and ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
