Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certified in Special Education (state credentials required)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and collaborative abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with families and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students with varying abilities
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated learning experiences
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Support students’ social and emotional development in a nurturing classroom environment
